Sculpting The Female Form – Reclining Pose

Sculpting the Female Form – This Course offers you the opportunity to learn about traditional sculpting techniques in clay, as well as the development of your individual artistic expression. Learn about the subtle complexity of form and the anatomy of the human body. You will have the opportunity to develop your direct observational skills whilst working with a life model present for 10 weeks. (Casting to be done in term 3)

Term 3, 2018: Mould making & casting – Learn about mould making & casting,  traditional techniques using plaster for the beginner students. Intermediate students learn modern techniques such as silicon moulds and fibreglass.

Dates: 20th July – 21st September
Time: Fridays 10am – 12pm
Cost: $580 per term (materials not included)

Two Sundays A Month 

Long Pose, 3 hour sessions
Draw, paint or sculpt at the atmospheric Nyora Studio Gallery with life model present.  Pursue your own practice.  One pose set. Draw, paint or sculpt.  Its up to you!  No tuition.  Bring your own materials.  Easels and drawing boards supplied.  Tea,  coffee and cake/ biscuits  provided.

Cost $150 for the term or
$35 per single session (casual attendance)
