In term 3 so far, students produced an observational study of the head.  Setting the pose, building armature,  preliminary sketches, blocking in the core, shaping the skull,  We examined the proportion of the face &  techniques used for sculpting facial features.  In the coming weeks we will be making molds & casting the works.  The sculptures were cast in black concrete, above are some images of the final result.
