LIFE DRAWING CLASSES
Located in the leafy outer northeastern suburb of Eltham, Nyora Studio Gallery is an atmospheric art studio that was founded more than twenty years ago. It offers students the opportunity to learn life drawing basics, in a real working art studio.
This unique experience is reserved for senior high school groups to immerse themselves in a creative setting. They will experience a real-life art studio first-hand. Learning in a working studio provides students with an authentic artistic environment that fosters creativity and inspiration.
They will benefit from professional artists’ inspiration and guidance. The instructors are highly skilled professionals with extensive experience in drawing. Many of them hold advanced degrees in fine arts and have exhibited their work in renowned galleries worldwide. Their expertise ensures students receive top-notch guidance and mentorship throughout the program.
The studio setting allows students to observe and learn various techniques firsthand, fostering a deeper understanding of artistic concepts. This immersive experience nurtures creativity and encourages personal artistic growth.
Designed specifically for senior VCE high school students, Nyora Studio’s life drawing courses are an excellent option for busy teachers and students.
All our courses are offered during the first half of the year due to the demanding schedule of senior students and teachers in the latter part of the year.

This workshop introduces VCE students to the Life Drawing Intensive and develops and refines their drawing skills. After completing this workshop, students will be able to draw the human figure more accurately and confidently.
Choosing the intensive workshop offers several key benefits. It allows students to immerse themselves in an intensive, focused environment that accelerates their learning and skill development. Additionally, the condensed format is perfect for those with tight schedules, enabling them to achieve significant progress in a single day.
Both formats are designed to cater to different schedules and learning preferences, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for all students.
The course format offers a more extended and gradual learning experience with two-hour sessions each week over six weeks, allowing students to develop their skills progressively. In contrast, the workshop provides an intensive, one-day experience, ideal for those who prefer a concentrated burst of learning.
Basic drawing materials Charcoal, and paper are included in the program cost.

Introduction to Life Drawing - COURSE
After School
- Course duration: Six weeks, 2 hours of life drawing per week
- Monday 4-6pm or Tuesday 5-7pm
- Dates to be coordinated with school (weekdays only)
- Cost $250 + GST per student

- Day to be coordinated with schools (weekdays only).
