Description
I watched this grey plover for an hour or two and noticed that it would return to this rock. I
lined up a photo for when it returned, which ultimately netted me this shot and a drenching
from some waves I wasn’t watching. The grey plover, even when not breeding, is easily one
of the most beautiful shorebirds; they migrate all the way up to Alaska every year.
